Yamaha viking custom snorkel

I started my snorkel for the viking the other day and am almost finished with it. The cvt system is 2 inch in and 2 inch out. The air box has 2 - 2 inch lines feeding it! I was able to get both sets of pipes to match on both sides-see pictures! I was also able to heat and mold the pipes coming up the back seat rests so that I could do it in one pipe with no rubber clamps-very nice fit! Still have to tidy a few things up and run the vent lines yet!

Any pics of the airbox routing my kit from snorkelyouratv blocks my oil dipstick and cant check oil
I'm just curious and I'm a mechanic with a background, why the need for two snorkel on the intake? You look at the bottle neck going into the carb/throttle body etc it's like 1". I like to run right between air box and intake. Try make it A quick change in case of warranty issues.

The intake for the air box that comes from the front is a three inch tube-I decided to go with two-2 inch tubes because the air inlet tubes are now coming in on the side of the filter instead of the front of the filter-I will take a picture of it tomorrow but the air tubes are only a 1/2 inch away from the filter whereas before on the stock tube coming from the front there is like a 1 1/2 clearance, plus I like things to match so double tubes on both sides looks better to me.

If you look in the pics of the air box by the gas tank you can see that I used flex tubing in that area-no way to hard pipe with two-2 inch lines with the gas tank.
Best part is that its painted black so you cant even tell its added on.

Cheers to Dupupp!

Did you use epoxy or silicone against the air box
Neither one-silicone does not stick well to smooth plastic and I have only found one epoxy that will work but is really expensive to use

Has anybody tried to do a snorkel with the sound dampening kit??

Oh yeah she knows! That kid in the middle is the whole reason we bought the viking! Her and I have always ridden grizzlys but needed to change for the family! Will never go back to a Atv again! Love my side by side!
