So this is my first post I have a fully rebuilt Viking and it’s been good for a little while now i had to replace the cylinder rings and I took the timing chain off I messed up the first time did the timing wrong and broke the chain new chain right timing all works but since then i have been having issues when I go to start it it just barely turns over surges dies then finally starts 50 precent of the time I ran down all the usual new relay new Chinese starter and fresh battery but it just sounds like it’s struggling to turn over the motor. Any advice.

There was another similar post about struggling to turn over to start, he had narrowed it down to a problem with the wet clutch, but hasn’t posted back if that was the problem or not.
