I’ve got 2014 model and just got done replacing the head gasket and got it out to go on a ride and noticed in high range it will only do 33 mph for some reason it’s not hitting a limiter or anything like that I had another 2014 model before and you could most diffently tell when you hit it motor wise I’m pretty smart on fixing stuff when it comes to clutches and stuff like that I get stumped. Thanks in advance

Did you take the CVT apart and do anything to it? Do you check to make sure you have good compression after head gasket?

I’m gonna say the compression I would say is good because it idles fine sounds just like my blue one did I haven’t done a compression test on it but it has 2500 miles on it I haven’t done anything to the cvt yet or haven’t checked belt either would kinda just like to know where would be a good starting point on it and what to look for honestly

Can you detail the behavior as you get near the top speed?

Does it just stop going faster? Does it sag when you push the pedal more? Is it rough or smooth? It it revving high? Etc..

It’s acting like weights have got out of place in the primary sheave. Had that on my Kodiak once.
