I have a 2021 YAMAHA VIKING EPS and was wanting to know where to get my 12volt Source besides the 12 volt battery, installing turning Signals.

I tapped the hot side of the cigarette lighter plug.

I wanted a switched source..all my lights are LED, so very little draw.

Ok just make sure you stay below the cigarette lighter socket max amps. You could also put in a relay triggered by the cig. circuit and attach it to a small fuse block. That way you could have 30a available to anything you want to add later.

my signal kit came with instructions on where to splice into the factory harness. What kid did you buy?

I purchased a kit from WD Electronics, a basic kit with a flasher relay, horn, push-button horn switch, 4 led turning signal lights,(3/4"), and wiring connectors.

I called Yamaha and they would not definitely say to use the 5KM harness that someone posted said to use, this harness connection on the passenger side feeds 12 volts to the Reverse sensor swithch.
