I am so inpatient waiting on the new parts to come out. Has anyone been in touch with any of the aftermarket to find out when cool parts was going to be released? I spoke with HMF and Dynatek this past week. Dynatek tells me they have no plains on the Viking CDI box yet, and said I was the first phone call requesting one for our Vikings. HMF is on board and is ready to get started as soon as their techs get finished with the project they are currently working on. They took down my information since I live relativity close to them. They told me they may bring mine in to make and R&D a exhaust system for the Vikings. If anyone else is in the mind set I am, please get on the horn and get the balls rolling. I am doing my part.

Ive never got aftermarket exhaust for an atv or sxs. Dont like loud stuff, loud enough as is IMO. I however do plan on geting a Silent Rider exhaust when they finish R&D on them in the next few months, ive been in contact with them.

IME, we should be able to get more power AND keep stock db on the exhaust... maybe even quieter since we have enough room to run a large muffler that can be tuned for a big single. Loud can be fun, but it doesn't help the cause.

I'll start making calls to see what kind of numbers are required to get something into production.

Nothing better than getting more performance and being as quiet as stock. Unlike my cars and bikes, I like my UTV's to be quiet. Keep us posted.

FWIW, I build all kinds of crazy stuff, and have my own little performance shop. Designing and fabbing a higher flowing system and muffler that can tune out the undesirable frequencies and keep things quiet will be a fun a project.

That would be awesome. Keep us posted. If you are successful, do you plan to sell them to the public? I would probably be one of the first in line.

An exhuast? Really the old lady would call me an idiot. Around the property it would piss off the cows across from us lol. We'll I don't mind it actually just the others that wouldn't appreciate it. I'll stick with being quiet though.

Can I get you all to call Dynatek and request a rev and speed limiter bypass box??? I have contacted them two times now and both times they tell me I am the only one requesting it for our Vikings. This is the email I just got back today from them. "Unfortunately, this is a new model and as of yet we have nothing available. Truth be told, I have yet heard of anything being done with it as of today. I have noted your request into the "lost sales" log for future consideration"
Thank you

Don't quote me on this, but I believe I read that it was 6500rpm at 51. I know I have done extensive riding on the main public road. The Viking does really good with the power band in fact you can actually feel the computer start pulling power around 48-49mph. I have rode a few stock rhinos and they don't feel anything like the Viking as far as power I don't think. I would say I have 40 miles or so of highway riding now, 35-51mph the whole way. I get one of these aftermarket companies to start working with me, I plan of pushing my Viking engine to the limits.

Yes, when you are trying to get every MPH out of it riding on the highway with cars and trucks pushing on you to get out of the way lol. The Viking does good stock, but like I said earlier, the computer is pulling power by the time you get to 48mph and you are very slowly gaining speed till 50ish-51 then you are on the speed limiter stopping you from going faster. I will be very happy when I can get the posted speed limit of 55.

I hope they come out with something for ya, no worries about that here in Texas, UTV and ATV's are not street legal, and can not be made to be.

Which is plan stupid, condsidering you can drive a Motorcycle on the highways, which is 2 wheels...

I dont know about ya'll, but i think my Viking is alot safer than a Motorcycle, Ive got seatbelts, roll cage, etc.

What size tires do you have? If you run 28's, you will be going around 57 mph when bouncing off the limiter. But the speed-0 will still read 50ish.

Contacted them as well and was told they have received a few requests so far and that do not have one in works yet. They said they will pass it on to engineering for future projects and keep checking their website periodicall.
