Well just got the viper in today and got it all wired and buttoned up, it's a really good looking and good quality winch at a very good price. The only problems I had was in my own stupidity, I was using an impact driver to put the allen head bolts on the side of the fender back on and stripped one out but like I said my own falt.

I just replaced the Allen head bolt with a flange bolt

Did you go with the flush mount dash switch? I nearly stripped the bolts into the skid plate, doesn't give much to grab to

No I didn't realize they had it available in the viper max until after I ordered it. I will be placing a order for the switch because I really do not like the look of the handle bar switch mounted on my dash, so I mounted the switch down low where you can't hardly see if for the time being, and I put the 10 ft lead plug in the glove compartment.
