Saw a good deal on a Viper Max 5000lbs winch kit for the viking this morning on eBay when I got home this evening to order it. Found out it was discontinued. What a bummer. It was 8% off at a price of $363.39 should have ordered this morning. Hope it comes back soon.

Went to moto alliance web site to see if I could get the 5000 viper max straight from them. It's not even an option at this time. Anyone have an idea what happen? 4500 is highest you can select now on the viper max.

This link takes you to a 3000lb-4500lb winch? However, if you look at the product detail photos, you will find a photo of a 5000lb winch?????

Yes but that link yesterday listed the 5000 viper max. I could not find any posting for a 5000 winch on there site. I wonder if they discontinued it?
I will find out tomorrow when I call them. Thanks for everyone's input.

Not discontinued at all! They are out of stock due to popularity but we anticipate rolling again next week on 5000lb MAX in standard size and in about 4 weeks for the widespool.

I called today and was told that they were sold out and should have them back in about two weeks. I see they responded before I got home today. Nice knowing they are responding to our concerns. I will try and order one in a couple of weeks.

We should have them in next Wednesday or Thursday from the way it looks.

Yes, demand is so high (and I'm so grateful.) We normally slow down this time of year, but we are having trouble keeping up with demand. I think we sold about 7,000 VIPER ATV/UTV winches last year and I'll need to check how we are tracking this year. Guessing we'll exceed that number.

I'm just disappointed that they say you can't use their mount plate with the yamaha add on brush guard.

John. I have the Viper Max 5000 wide spool withe the Yamaha brush guard. A small modification was needed then it works fine. I used nothing more than a jig saw and a file and touched up the ends with paint.
