This is what I did. It made a huge difference in cab noise. A little more to do when servicing, but well worth the extra minutes. 1/2" stall mat, zip ties, 1- 1/2" bolts and pipe insulation.
How would a car or truck sound when driving, with no firewall and holes under the seat? Hello ! This is somewhere around my 10 th. Yamaha. They build strong and reliable machines, but they sometimes miss the bus. This mod will take care of most of the cab noise. I did cut mat to cover the floor and bed. I have my Viking 3 weeks and have 97 miles on it. I did this at 78 miles. I can now talk to myself. It is GREAT!
Having issues with a 2016 Viking cutting out at 38 mph and won’t go any faster. Went in some deep water last weekend. Belt slipped. Got pulled out. Left it idle while drained cvt case. 15 min later no issues. Ran fine but probably didn’t get it up to 38 mph at that time. Let it dry out for a few...
Well, with this self isolating, and corona virus running amuck on us, I thought I may as well tackle a problem with the work horse.
1. For about a month now, my fuel gauge only reads 1/4,full or empty, depends on how you look at things. Today I filled it to the top, and it still reads 1/4...
Just a question my Viking was running fine and now it will rev up and go it just seems to be slipping . Was just wondering if it was the clutch or the wet clutch. It will go better in reverse then in low.
I built a snorkel for my Viking out of 2x4 tubing and took it for a test drive last night and feels like it has a loss of power. Has anyone had the problem and would a larger air filter fix this or a bigger tube the fix
I have a squeaking noise coming from the front driver's side that is noticeable at slow speeds. I don't notice it at higher speeds (possibly due to the engine and wind noise drowning out the squeaking noise while driving faster).
