If I was you, because I’ve had 28” tires on my vi. I would at the very least, add a shim to your clutch.

Yes it is. And I would suggest since your in there doing the full service of both sheaves if it hasn’t been done before and you have more than 1000 miles on it. Lighter roller weights would help too, depending on how you use your Viking.

Shims are a very easy and cheap upgrade. If you do go with lighter weights. I use 16g HV weights and like the results. Slugging the clutch is also a good thing to do, but not as simple. It’s not hard but time consuming if anything.
