I need a little assistance. I have a new cooling fan and have jumped it to a switch from the relay. Fan works good and relay is good. I think the temp sensor is bad and not telling fan to engage. Where is temp sensor and thermostat? Thanks.

The thermostat is on the top of the engine, drivers side, the sensor is there too.
