After installing the wet clutch I took a 1/4" round punch and staked the (new) wet clutch nut.
After done beating on it, mine has like 2 big dents in the nut rim of the nut, and I was looking at a picture of someone elses staked nut and theirs is beat totally flat, should I be worried mine might loosen? I would think any kind of bend would keep it from turning. Any thoughts? Thanks

Well, not going to be able to do that, because it is all closed up and already took it down the road.
If I had it still open, I would beat it down more flatter, and not worry about it. Thanks for responding though.

You'll be fine. I only stake in one place. You'll be happy it is if you ever have to take it back apart.

As above, Buck's right. It'll be a nightmare to pull apart again if you over beat it.
