Seal Replacement

My 2014 has both leaking final drive (rear diff) seals and some other newer oil leak under the engine. I am planning to start tear-down to identify the new leak and begin the process of replacing the final drive seals. I will use this thread to document the process with pictures and instructions.

What fun.

Fantastic write up, just got my 15’ back together and will take it for a cruise tomorrow after work! Curious about what year they switched to a fully welded skid plate, I can remove the front and back thankfully!
There has never been anything but a fully welded skid plate. 😡

they went away from the bolted rear plate in 2016 for some reason that is beyond me.

I never knew that. Have you checked to see if that could be made to fit a newer model?

no i straightened out mine after cutting welds and bolted it back on with ubolts,i don't think the bolted ones would have given me access to the engine, but would help for removing the rear diff.
