The Viking’s Electric Power Steering (EPS) system reads steering wheel torque, vehicle speed and negative feedback to determine the appropriate amount of assist in any given situation.

The MSRP for non-EPS models start at $11,499; EPS models start at $12,499.

The reviews about it are glowing and I ride through some testy terrain. The last SxS i had was without power steering and man is it a workout!!

For the extra $1000 whos going for the EPS? I am...

It's definitely worth the extra coin, rather have it and be more at ease when im riding
Yea im considering just because my boys are almost at the age where I'll be comfortable with them taking off with the SxS to do some fishing or hassle the pretty girls and i would certainly feel much better if our Viking had EPS. Not for anything but even in an emergency where you need a fast turn to avoid whatever you definitely dont want the thing fighting you.

Plus as i get older i dont want to fight the wheel, spent enough time doing that in my hotrodding heydays

You think you dont need it when you never had it... Then you spend a day in the trails with it and you think "why the f... did I not take it ???"

Plus, re-sell value is better... You pay more but you get more, or at least yours is more "desirable" and sells faster...
