Do these do any good and are they easy to install?

I can't comment on how well they work... but have found the splash protection of the stock Viking to be excellent. These probably add very nicely to it.
First off, welcome to the site

Like above, they Viking does great in stock form. But the Overfenders wouldnt hurt i guess, other than making the Viking Wider than it already is.
welcome aboard!

already the viking can be tight on the trails, not sure if its worth it to make it even wider?

how come you feel you need the extra protection?

How much should a set of overfenders cost for the viking?
Viking is already so wide

Dont think I'd want to make it even wider! The stock fenders do a good job at doing the job.

Does anyone have a picture of this installed on the Viking? I can't really picture what we are talking about here. What is the point of the over fenders anyway?
overfenders are like Fender flares on a truck,You screw them to the outside of your fenders, to make fenders wider if you have big tires that stick out past the stock fenders, so mud dont get thrown on you.
Don't know if they are necessary just interested.
I picked mine up today when I picked up my Viking (pictures later)I bought them to protect the camo from scratches. Will post pictures of the install and finished product in the next few weeks as I install all the accessories

Look foward to seeing the pics!!!

Just a note, you may want to add some foam rubber or something between the Overhead stereo and roof, it can vibrate at times, put some foam strips in there, between the roof and roll cage mounts on the radio, solves it.
Good to know

Also getting floor mats and bed mat to reduce noise and vibration

Floor mats where on my list, but i changed my mind, bed mat is a nice mod too, i woud have got one, but i already had one from my 2010 Ranger, and it fit in the Viking bed fine.

I just order my flares ,I have bigger tires and we just got a foot of snow and in no time I had more snow in the cab the was outside hope it helps
Bought my Viking and the flares at the same time. I was able to install them by myself in about an hour. They are very easy to install. There is one difficult nut, washer, and bolt to put in on each side. It is the furthest nut and bolt to the rear of the front fenders, near the cab. The frame is in the way and it is a very tight fit. I ended up glueing the washer to the nut and taping the back of the nut to my open ended wrench. It went on very easy then. It is really tight, but other than thay it was an absolute breeze to install.

I too bought mine more for looks than function, but I am looking to put bigger tires on in the near future and hope they will be of some benefit.

By the way, they do look super cool!!!!!:D
