Oil plug is strippped. What’s the best way to fix.

No but you should try and have new threads cut into it for a oversized new drain plug first before assuming case is cracked if you can’t find a crack.

Got a mechanic looking into it. My initial thoughts were it was just a stripped plug, but I am concerned with the amount of oil it was leaking. No visual cracks but it Leads me to suspect there may be more damage.

NO NO NO NO NO... go to Auto Zone, or Advanced Auto Parts, or Napa, or whereever you get your auto parts from and buy some Heli-Coil Helical inserts. They are stronger than the factory hole. Takes about 10 min to do.
