I looked and sat in both. Honda looked like it had a smaller differential in the rear. motor still under which makes maintance hard like the big Red was. If your a big guy like I am, the honda will felt cramped sitting in it. Honda I felt is riding on their reputation. I bought a Viking and love it! I had a honda Rincon and Yamaha Grizzly which is the equivilant compairing these two. With three people in the viking there is plenty of room and headroom to spare.

Thanks for posting guys! I am a long time Honda owner. 3 over the past 10 years, all atv's. most recent being a modded 420AT w/ eps, gear reduction, etc....

Having not seen the Honda in person, I can honestly say that the most attractive features in my mind are the individual rear seats, ability to set 4 (assuming grown men), PRICE, and width..

I have seen the Viking and compared to the Ranger XP would prefer the Viking all day for its work ability over the ranger and Pioneer.... Im just not sold on its sport ability..... I know the Honda will be lacking on the work side of things, just not sure if it makes up for it play wise...

My first born is 8 months old and his comfort/safety will be a HUGE factor in this purchase. I plan to use this machine for the deer lease, family oriented leisure riding and possibly some hardcore play riding a few years down the road once it is almost paid off... I WILL be financing whatever I chose to do, Honda or Yamaha... I currently have great credit w Honda, shouldn't be too hard w Yamaha....

Any comments are greatly appreciated.
