Well, there's going to be "lovers" and there's going to be "haters." Since the speed-jumpin' performance group seems to be the most vocal, I would say that there's going to be more "haters" than anything.

Not something I need, but the big family people will like it. It does seem like it would have been a good candidate for a little more power.

^This is a very good point. One would think that the next model would be geared more to the performance/play side.

On another note: I looks like the plastic is the same as the original...AND it looks like there is a new color "matte silver."

Ya, its good to see they are expanding and hitting directly at Polaris. The Polaris 800 crew is 40hp, which is weird, because the 3 seater Ranger XP 800 is 50hp. The Viking 686 is 49hp and I assuming its the same for the Viking crew. The Polaris 900 crew is 60hp...

Holy **** that thing is big. What siz of trailer do you need to buy to haul that thing? Very glad that they are hitting up the working class people that need something reliable etc first. It's a good market to target. I am sure they will blow us away next year with a release of a sport model.

I am completely happy with my Viking.

I am glad to see it. Polaris is entrenched with the construction companies even though they know reliability and quality are a problem. This will give them a great new option.

Dont bank on a sport one... I am just not sure, they will venture there. They have the technology to build one quite easily, but I dont think they want the lawsuits and it would have to be big to dethrone the rzr 1000.

You hit the nail on the head. Even if Yamaha brought out a sport SxS it wouldn't even scratch the surface of the rzr or can am but with a 6 seater crew that are mostly bought by companies it will seperate them from the rest. Haul more people and do it comfortably and reliably! Perfect match in my opinion. Now I think the viking will get a v twin in the near future to get original viking owners to upgrade.
