I'm aware of sledders using these. I use Webbers version of the following. Sadly they seem to have discontinued it. The Charbroil didn't stay lit as nice.

I wouldn't consider asking her if this is OK.
I'd rather eat cold food than chance her reply. I was hoping someone else would venture into the unknown and find out. 🥴

Yeah, I got one and attached it to the pipe, it got hot enough to completely petrify some sausages, it actually melted some of the alum foil. The pipe is way too hot to attach to, so I welded up a mount for the Muff container that does not touch the pipe, now it works great. Nice hot food when we stop for a break or lunch.
