Ok so i have a 2016 viking 700 eps se, the fuel pump has been cutting out a lot, i have replaced it and its still happening. I see a lot of posts about this issue but mines different, when i bang on the plastic tank it starts working and i have noticed when my front end is pointed downhill it cuts out more. Im thinking its a loose plug on or inside the tank and im wonderingnif anyone has had this issue? Its pouring down rain right now or i would be out testing wires but i have a feeling its that plug on the top of the tank.

There's no plug inside the tank, only the one on top. Pull that one apart and make sure that the pins in both sides are firmly locked in place, that is, one of them hasn't been pushed back out of the plug when it was connected.

When you have that plug separated try to clean the contacts then put some dielectric grease on them before reconnecting it. I have fixed intermittent electrical issue by doing this on some older ATV’s.

There are 3 plugs inside of the tank 2 being the same wire and that is where my problem was

How did you get to them if they were inside the tank?
