I ordered the under roof canvass enclosure today in black. Very nice people to deal with!
I also was able to drop off new windshield frame and my heat shields at powder coater. Looking forward to it coming all together.

Nice progress so far.
What other modifications/add-on's do you have planned for your Viking?
sweet/ post some photos when you have it installed.
That'll be so nice!!! i heard motoalliance, the makers of the Viper winch, where soon to come out with a heater for the Viking.

I went for a ride today about 2 miles, and it was in the low 50's, it was so cold!!!

also, speaking of heat shields, i got my exhaust wrap in today that i ordered on eBay, wrapped the pipe above the diff, out side temp was in the 50's. Rode for the 2 miles, temp was around 110 after that 2 mile trip, after it cooled off, i wrapped the pipe, went for the same ride, it was only 85 degrees. I still got to install the aluminum plate i made for the shield

The only thing I have on my mind is a good front brush guard. Not in a big hurry for it. I will put up some pics probably a video of everything in a couple of weeks.

I wrapped mine the other day also. Make sure everyone to get the wrap soaking in water for a while before you put it on, to make it easier and tighter to install. I painted mine with high heat black paint after I wrapped the entire pipe. I was wondering how hot it would get because the powder coat will only stand up to about 400 degrees I think.
