Season kicked off in Kentucky but I'm not in Kentucky.

Soooo getting all my archery, rifles and gear ready for the opener in Va and WVa in Oct.. Here are a few pics from seasons past. No trophies - but plenty of freezer/table fare.

Who's getting the ich besides me?

Welp, it’s obvious your wife won’t be seeing you for a while.

Those are some nice deer!

You can copy and paste the picture in this box where you type your message. Or click on the paper clip and then select your photo album then select your picture

The way I do it is
click on the 3 dots (upper right of screen)
select gallary (you might have to create one first)
select "add media"
upload pic

Once you see pic in your gallary, click on it
Scroll to bottom right of and copy and past the image BB Code into your message.
That brings up the pics in a way that they scale to fit most any screen

We planted 6 fields - a total 14 acres - with corn, soybeans, clover, oats and buckwheat. That was spring/summer. Currently, 10 acres are getting planted in radishes, turnips and rye - for winter feed. These deer live well, and die swiftly. And taste great.

Sounds like you are covered for the duration of Covid and only need toilet paper unless you have corn cobs.

Too bad. Maybe you can get it worked out at some point. I know you have some great pics to share from hunts in BC. I've never taken anything bigger than a white tail.

Headed to the 1200 acre hunt lease. Met Moonshine Buck.

Primary objective = Turn em red.

Secondary objective = Good fellowship, food, drink.

Future objectives = Turn em into sausage, jerky, meat sticks, steaks, burger.

Got one on the clover field. Large field. Saw upward of 35 deer this day. 1 decent buck and several small ones.

Attached Moonshine Buck’s skinnin rig to Blue Banger.

What is that hoist contraption you have in the hitch receiver? Will that lift your deer all the way up and into the bed? Where did you get it?

Deer hoist in action.

As far as getting them into the dump trailer, I have in mind to add one or two pulley wheel (one on the roof). Then route the winch cable over the top and attach to deer (with the dump trailer tipped).
