Anybody else find it not "easy" to put gas in the Viking?

With the filler hole so up into the plastic, you cant even lift up your gas can to get all the gas out, gotta turn the can upside down, sideways, etc etc. They should have make it stick out a bit, or atleast even with the plastics.

I haven't had to fill mine up with a gas tank yet but if it is hard I will use a funnel
Thats a good idea, hadn't crossed my mind.
I use a funnel. With a long neck. Works out ok that way:)
Ive just put fuel from the pump but did like the look of the fuel cans at the dealer instead of just my regular ole can and they did have a pretty long neck on them.
Great info, i may use a funnel next time, that would be easier.
Yes, I have experienced the same issue. I cut a piece of rubber hose and put it on the gas can nozzle.

That's a good idea too
I was just thinking about posting a similar post yesterday as I struggled to fill up. I guess it's not the filling up part that's so bad but being able to see when it is getting near full. It's a pain either way. I like the idea of a tube on the end of a funnel. But. Still difficult to see when full. All ideas ate appre iated.

All ideas? well in that case spell check is your friend.
LOL Im just giving you a hard time, Im probably the worlds worst at using it so figured I might as well get someone else when I can.
haha, true, i cant do it at times, but i try to go over it before i hit reply. Sometimes my fingers type faster than my brain can spell, haha.
I picked up one of the race cans the other day with hose for 20$. Of course it was on sale at that price. should make much easier.

It's likely tucked in so it isn't easily damaged when things get hairy on the trail.
You must be a lucky one then.
Lucky? LOL, no. I guess I just have good gas jugs that I use to put gas in the machines, and never noticed it being a problem. I can empty the jug completely, and never spill a single drop.
Just buy a race can it has a 12inch clear hose and it even has a vent for easy pouring
