Has anyone sealed their airbox and snorkeled their Viking yet?
Looking for advise on how to.

Nope havent yet. Havent needed to. Ive had water comin in the cab with no issues. I wont go any deeper than that.

You can get water proof cabin add-ons and drive through water? Is this what you are talking about?

Seems like fun but really not that practical. Why would you need to drive the Viking through a body of water that deep?

but cool that you have the ability to make the Viking do that.

It already has a snorkel. Well, sort of. It goes to the top of the hood on the inside, just above the battery. If you need to go in water deeper than that you should have a boat or a recovery vehicle close by.

We have a creek ive been in. No I dont have waterproof add ons. It was just enough to come under the doors no biggie.

The intake is above the seat, but the airbox is below....If you had water over the seat, is the airbox watertight? Does anyone know?

yes, the Airbox is watertight. I have had mine seat deep in water with no ill effects.

As for snorkeling them, yeah, they are factory "snorkeled" to a degree, but it never hurts to add a little extra protection.

It's not always how deep it is either, water will run up the hood like a ramp into the intake if you aren't careful with your speed driving through water
