Given that a lot of us are in the 'noreast it only seems fitting as we stare at our great weather going away, thinking about how we'll plow our driveways.

Besides -- if you needed an excuse to get a Viking, now you have one. Who else will plow your street? The city? yeah right!!

Well, you may not get the cool looking viking with the torch in the snow. But, Texas can sometimes get snow.... no? I had an ex-gf in Texas that used to tell me she saw frost occasionally. No, she didn't mean my attitude. Or maybe she did. I don't know. :)

I hope their instructions are better for it than they were for their rear bumper I just installed. For one thing it says to remove a bolt from the heat shield on the right side. Well, the heat shield is on the left side with the exhaust. The pictures are worthless, as well.

"Thanks for reaching out to us. You’ll probably get another answer from someone in Customer Service, but I wanted to jump in here. We don’t have pricing yet; we’re not quite out of R&D. We do only make one plow (link below) with various “vehicle specific” mounts. We are, however, working on an improved Mid-Mount (push tube) starting with the Viking. All of this is preliminary, but should roll out very soon (for obvious reasons). We should be in production and pricing released this coming week; best bet is we’ll be shipping in two weeks.

By the way, I think I saw someone mention something in the thread about Right Side / Left Side; I suppose we’d be more accurate in stating vehicle sides as “passenger” or “driver” side. We’ll work on our instruction capabilities – we’ve brought in some “new blood”; hopefully we’ll do a better job of demonstrating and communicating instructions!

There’s been a lot of focus on Polaris products in the last several years, but I must say, I’m very impressed with the Viking! Just as a heads up, we’re currently working on an Extreme Front Bumper for the Viking.

My very best regards and praying for lots of snow this year!

For his information, it actually states both Right side and passenger for the heat shield in the instructions I had for the rear bumper.
