Just put on My new 814's last night, haven't got to ride it yet, but I'm looking for moderate medium trail riding.
I have the preload at 17 1/2" like said in instructions, Rebound at 7, and wanted to skip to what someone has already in the compression setting. Also wondering, does the shock let the Viking get full travel suspension like it had, with the limit straps on? looks like they stretch to tight in about a 1" or so.

Nice upgrade. I have read a lot of good stuff about them.
Have you searched the threads here for 814 shocks?

thank you, I have, but I cant find where I thought someone had posted what clicks they were at on their 814's on a Viking.
