How does the viking clear 30" tires? Does it need a lift? or a finder trim?

i would highly suggest the 2 inch super atv lift. i have 30" mud tires on mine right now on factory suspension and at full tuck the front tires rub the floorboard

30" tires seem entirely too big for the Viking. @NWvikingGuy can you post us a picture of your set-up? I want to see exactly what this looks like.

You can always try uploading those pictures to some photo hosting website like flickr and copy and paste the image links here for us to see.

By far the easiest way to upload from your phone is, if you have a Smartphone, say like a iPhone, download the Tapatalk app, and you can put a pic into your post super easy!!!!

How well does the viking handle larger tires? Any notice of significant power loss?

I haven't seen any in the bottom end. I can still spin all 4 of those monster tires in the mud and climb right up a 4 foot stump. I know the speedo is off cause I had my buddy pace me and when I hit 45 and maxed out he was doin 50. I have honestly been thoroughly impressed with the things that this machine will do. And with the 30s and no lift I'm at 16" of ground clearance all around right now and ill be higher after I get back from my christmas vacation and put on the superatv 2" lift

Same here with the 28's, i didnt notice anything power loss wise.

If the 3.45 sheave works out, big tires will place much less load on the engine and wet clutch. I'll bet if you lined up next to a Viking with stock tires, you would notice the difference in acceleration.

Aren't 30" tires a bit of overkill for the Viking? Do they make a big difference from a practical stand point? What are you able to do with the that you can't do with the stock tires?
