Vikingss212 has some itp ss wheels on his
THANKS so much for the info. That is really weird, because all of the 12" wheels are supposed to be the same thickness???? I'm going to pass that on because they had resigned themselves into thinking it was a 12 inch vs 14 inch thing. This whole thing is quite a head scratcher. On one hand, they are telling me that they absolutely should work. On the other hand they're acknowledging that they don't. I'm just hoping that there are some different caps out there somewhere.Mass n trash. I just last week installed the 12" ITP SS 108 rims and had no problems with the center caps. Unfortunately I am out of town and can't help you with the cap number. It could also be a difference in the 108 versus the 212 rim dimensions![]()

Thank for the info. Correct me if I'm wrong...but aren't those the steel wheels? Do the caps on those snap on the outside...or do they go on first and come through the wheel?ITP Delta 12" wheels were no problem, I was even able to use the factory lugs with them![]()

Yep, the original cap is off. Just wanted to see how far off the new caps were, and I have to put 3 washers over the studs first to get them to work. As it is now, once I put the wheel on, the axle hits the inside of the cap and they wont snap on. I reversed the process and put the cap on the wheel first and then set it on the studs. Then, when I push the wheel onto the hub, the axle pops the cap off. If they were about 3/8ish inches deeper, they would be fine.I was going to ask the same question because there isn't anything that sticks out for the center caps to be to shallow
Mine work perfect did you take the plastic center hub cover off the Viking that came with it stock

Okay. I am home and was able to get those center cap measurements on the ITP SS108. First off the cap part number is P110SS. With the caps in the rims I measured from the surface the wheel contacts the wheel hub to the center of the cap using calipers. I get 2.330". Measuring with the same straight edge from the end of the axle to the wheel hub I get 2.320". Needless to say there is only 0.010" clearance. Inside each cap is a mold riser. I was so concerned on how tight of a fit it was I used a small pencil grinder and smoothed that high spot down on all 4 caps. I can sleep a bit better knowing the cap won't touch, but it is close. In the morning I wheel re-torque the lug nuts as per the manual to 54ft/lbs. Hope this helps you out with your wheels

I don't have a part number, but your supplier should be able to get these. Mine are actually "STI" HD caps...and they are deeper and made for the Vikings. Mine are black, but I think they come in chrome as well? I really think the STI HD caps look better than the ITP caps anyways. So what was the part number of the new caps you got? The used ITP rims I bought are too shallow as well and I want to get the right ones ordered before the mud is ready to fly.
You can see a photo of my ITP wheels and STI HD caps here. I used the black caps and black lugsWill do. Thanks Mass. I'll let ya know.
