Anyone who had a clutch shim know what is the biggest shim you can put in before the bolts rub? I know we had a grizzly I believe it was a 1.1 but I can’t remember for sure.

Did you have any clutch work to run your 28” tires? Thanks

I am running 30x11 ITP cryptids. Absolutely love these tires. They ride surprisingly nice and quiet, even on pavement. They will climb anything you want or go through any bog. I have my clutch slugged and a .50 shim. (The .75 rubbed)
2Ē lift and havenít had ANY rubbing. I have not put the JBS Sheave in yet even though my rig really needs a sheave replacement.
I did notice a power loss when going to the cryptids but not enough to cause me to get stuck yet.

That is a mean looking machine you have there! So .50 is the biggest shim a guy dares to go without rubbing?

MotoXMall

Hey all, just joined and I bought a 2015 VI and just purchased 15” STI HD’s and 30” dirt commanders from MotoXMall and they sent them separate and not mounted but I ordered Bead lock which I can do myself but the valve stems are too big and won’t fit and I made a note that these are for a 2015 Viking VI and the center caps are not deep enough. Anyone else have issues with this place?
