Hey, you might be interested in learning that my dodgy LED bar install is still holding. While I agree that the install is dodgier than a politician's tax forms, it did make room for my stereo tube which is now on the pillar mounts. Anyway, back to the dodgy light bar.... Nothing but some metal wire (galvanized cable) routed through the roof. I crimped on some sling loops and attached both ends to a tension bolt doo hicky. Anyhow, that thing made it through a treacherous 50 mile journey no problem.

Also, I'm pretty stoked to report that Bloobanger had a seat transplant thanks to Walkin Tall. (black market seat smuggler). The banger is sporting new black and yellow yxz seats.

Also, I don't think I want my second battery under the seat. The water situation is definitely dodgy! So I'm keeping the battery box in the middle seat. I built a secondary harness (one to the main battery and one to the secondary) in anticipation of an isolator install.

You will need a mount to hold the screen where the rearview mirror would be. I ordered the Ram Mount X-Grip.

It's a low volt deal. Just find a power source and follow the instructions that come with the camera.

Impressive, yes?

Thank you bd-skrillz
Nice looking set up and install. Did you get the mount on Amazon?

After making up the relay pigtail myself, If I had to do it again I'd just buy it from Yamaha. Either way works fine.

Thnx and no problem.

I opted to keep the camera on at all times. I like the added feature of seeing what's behind me when I'm on the trails since the surlast back window covering, seat backs, and everything else upstructs any rear view mirror view. But if you want to use it as a true backup camera, then BM has you covered. You'll have to place the camera somewhere around the hitch (I'm guessing).

Yes, I think I purchased the mount from Amazon.

As Ive been thinking about the backup camera I think Id like to be able to use the camera on demand. Use as a rear View mirror or turn on when backing up
But not every back up.
Can you hook the back up camera to a toggle switch to accomplish this?
Thanks

Hey bd with that camera mounting position do you have a good view of whats up close to you? Or is it out a ways from the rear end?

Thanks
