9'' Tires All 4 Corners

I did a search but didn't find anything....

Does anyone here run 9'' wide tires on all 4 corners? if so, any performance issues or anything? I was tossing around the idea of throwing a set of 28x10x12 Zillas on my VI (2'' lift) due to their light weight. Now I'm thinking about going to a 27x9x12 of something a little more heavy duty but would weigh about the same as the Zillas. 11's seem like they'd be a little too wide for the front. I haven't done any upgrades to the clutch yet but it's something I'll do down the road.

I've spent many-a-hour researching tires & I still can't make up my mind. The machine will mostly be used for deer hunting in Nebraska (mostly pastures) & hog hunting in east Texas with anywhere from hard pack trails, mud/dirt trails, and some fairly deep mud.

I like the idea of running the same size all around & I want to try to keep the weight down. I'm open to any suggestions.

That's a perfectly fine idea especially on hard trails.

Good to know. Thanks.

I thought about new 14" rims but it's not in the budget right now.

The more digging I do, I'm seriously leaning towards the Bear Claw HTR's in 27x9x12. They're fairly light weight & seem to do well in everything.

Im sure I'll change my mind tomorrow .

I'm running 29x9x14 on all four corners. I like that I can have one spare. Imo skinny tires are lighter and dig deeper.

Tusk warthogs. Been liking them so far. Rocky mountain ATV had them for $80 a tire and an $80 rebate last year. Couldn't beat it.

I've been running the 30" Maxxis Roxxzill 396's on 14" black vibe MSA wheels. The tires are killer - 8 ply tires and run well on everything that matters to me (dirt, gravel, asphalt). Love em.

My only complaint is they're directional, so using the spare be the luck of the draw!
