What are you using for a dome light?

I am building an overhead console to house a stereo head unit and a uhf 2 way car radio for communicating between riders in our caravan.

Previously i just used a cheap closet battery operated push light. want to upgrade to something led and 12v. thought about a reverse light bar that you use on trailers, in fact i am using that as a cargo light, but too bright for cab.

option 2 is some 3/4" gromet style lights at the farm store.

any other suggestions or ideas that others are using? Hoping to have the box done this weekend.

I will post a full write up with pics when installed.

I've got a white led strip light with adhesive backing, I'm just going to stick it to the roof or roll bar, with a switch on the dash.

I'm using led strip lights. It's a 4 pack on Amazon for $7. I put 2 strips on the roof and 2 under the dash.

I second the kc cyclones. I actually purchased several for use on my Viking. I have them underhood and in the bed of my truck and they are a great light.
