I just ordered the cdi box as well. Are you planning on running aftermarket exhaust?

Nice! I will definitely like to hear how the performance increases. How hard is the CDI box to tune?
I just purchased a New Ranch Edition picking it up hopefully end of this week.

No tuning necessary, we will map it for you based on your bike. It's a plug and play system. However you can make changes to your set up at anytime by simply plugging in your laptop.

Like Rob said the CDI was easy. He asked me a few questions and they sent me the CDI programmed for exactly what I will be running. "Yosh" exhaust and their extreme set up on 27" tires for now.

That will be a sweet set up for sure. will that yosh exhaust run any cooler on the outside? can you heat wrap those to keep cooler? the only reason i ask is for the last couple of years we have had some real dry summers. last year for sure. the Idaho forest was shut down for 3-4 months.

I'm not sure about the running temperature yet. I will put a temp gun on my stock exhaust after running it for a while. After the install I will do the same with the Yosh exhaust. There are aftermarket exhaust wraps a person could buy. I will keep u posted on temp.

What's the price on the CDI? Can these be run with stock exhaust with noticeable gains?

CDI with JBS map is $409 shipped. if your bike is totally stock it's really not worth doing from a "bang for your buck" standpoint, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it will help performance even on a stock bike. But when you start getting into clutching and exhaust then it really starts to come alive
