That would be my 1st Choice for tires. I'm running 30s on 14s, when I got the bike they were already on it. If i could sell them I would definitely run 12s. As far as I'm concerned, the more side wall the better when it comes to offroad plus tires are usually a bit cheaper

ironhide (or anyone else) have you run the o.g bighorns? if so would you say the blackwater are better considering the extra weight. im wanting to get new tires for the wolverine, something more all terrain. im looking for something that has a decent tread, does good in muddy trails/sidehilling, muddy hill climbing, light weight that doesnt rob power and can still handle 40+ mph on gravel/dirt roads. let me add that where we ride the rocks shred bighorn 2.0s, itp mudlite xl, and maxxis zillas so those tires are not an option. also need to run 28 x 14s. thanks!!

Finding some thing that is all terrain but decent in mud is why I chose the Blackwaters. From all the research I done not many are good in the mud. 8 ply sidewalls and rim guard are excellent. I do like the uni directional tread, for in theory it should back out of slop as well as it went in. Cheers

I definitely like the look of those blackwaters. May be my next tire too. So, Howland, you went with 28's instead of 30's. Just wanted to take it easy on the clutch?
